These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Approxima website at approxima.ai, the Approxima Chrome extension, the Approxima SMS service, and all related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Approxima ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Approxima is an agentic QA platform that automatically tests your web and mobile applications. We open your app in a real browser or emulator, execute test journeys, and report results — on every pull request, on a schedule, or on demand.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

By providing any URL to the Service — whether as an application URL, preview URL, or test target — you represent and warrant that you are the owner of, or are authorized to test, the website or application at that URL. Approxima will make automated requests to URLs you provide as part of normal test execution. You accept full responsibility for any URLs you submit and agree to indemnify Approxima against any claims arising from testing unauthorized targets.
You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service, including application configurations, test journeys, and secrets. We use your data solely to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that any secrets, credentials, or environment variables you provide are scoped appropriately for test environments. Do not provide production credentials.
When you install the Approxima GitHub App, you authorize us to receive webhook events and post test result comments on your pull requests. You can revoke this access at any time through your GitHub settings. Your use of GitHub is also subject to GitHub's own terms of service.
The Approxima Chrome extension records user interactions to create test journeys. The extension only operates during active recording sessions initiated by you. It automatically masks sensitive form fields (passwords, credit card numbers, SSNs) before transmitting data.
You are responsible for reviewing recorded journeys to ensure they do not inadvertently include sensitive data beyond what our masking detects. You can uninstall the extension at any time.

The Service uses AI models to execute and validate tests. Screenshots and page content from your application are sent to third-party AI providers during test execution. While we take steps to secure this data, you should not use the Service to test pages containing highly sensitive personal data (e.g., medical records, financial statements) unless you are comfortable with this data flowing through third-party AI APIs.
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Approxima shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that test results will be accurate, complete, or error-free.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
